Raeni Coleman is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience in various areas of pediatrics. She opened her private practice to provide on-site, home and school-based occupational therapy to children from birth to age 18. While at Yale University, she studied developmental psychology and participated in pediatric research concentrating on Attention Deficit Disorder, School Adjustment, Conduct Disorder, and Visual Behavior. Raeni achieved board certification in Behavior Analysis in 1996, followed by a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1998. She has received advanced training in Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, and Pediatric Feeding.
In addition to her private practice, Raeni served as adjunct faculty at Florida International University's Department of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy for five years. She lectures yearly at The Department of Children and Families Institute of Mental Health and provides training at various schools throughout Miami-Dade County.
Monica Ledesma-Ventura MS CCC-SLP/FSL
Monica L. Ventura is a bilingual, Florida licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is the founder of Speech Solutions, Corp, providing children with individualized speech-language intervention since 2002. With over 25 years of experience in pediatrics, Monica’s expertise is in Socio-Communicative Disorders/Delays and Applied Behavior Analysis, utilizing behavioral strategies to facilitate the acquisition of language skills. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1993 and a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 1998. She then furthered her education with training in PROMPT, PECS, Fast Forward, the Listening Program and is Hanen certified.
Through Speech Solutions, Monica offers customized speech-language intervention in a nurturing environment, both onsite and at local schools. She also caters to a large international community, who come to see her periodically for extended periods of time. Her unique and effective approach includes creating individual home programs that clients can implement from home in their respective countries. She schedules regular Skype meetings to measure progress and recommend additional strategies. She is passionate about working with an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal results for each one of her clients.
Dania Lopez-Ramirez MS CCC-SLP/FSL
Dania Lopez Ramirez is a bilingual, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She served on the licensing board of Florida where she helped create guidelines and regulations for speech language pathology. Dania is the director and owner of Miami Center for Speech-Language Pathology since 1999 and has worked with children in schools, clinics and implementing home-based programs for over 30 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders in 1991 and a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders in 1993. Her extensive clinical experience includes early intervention, articulation, phonological disorders, language delays and disorders, auditory processing deficits, and oral and verbal apraxia. Dania is Hanen-certified and has furthered her education with training in PECS and Fast Forward. She collaborates with numerous parents, teachers, staff members and international clients in various topics related to communication deficits. Dania also serves as a mentor developing and supervising emerging speech pathologists. Her practice continues to thrive through her exclusive individualized approach to treatment.
