GET READY TO SUCCEED!
Get Ready to SUCCEED is an individualized intensive therapeutic program teaching the fundamental skills required to participate in group activities. These skills include:
  • Attending
  • Sitting
  • Turn taking
  • Following basic directions
  • Understanding and using basic vocabulary to request and comment
  • Increasing/improving fine motor skills
  • Sensory integration
  • Improving feeding skills
 
At Get Ready to SUCCEED each child’s skill level is assessed in order to create an individualized therapy plan. Then small group instruction is provided by licensed speech and occupational therapists with a 1:1 or 2:1 child to therapist ratio.
 
Get Ready to SUCCEED
 runs for 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday for 8 sequential weeks. The children are placed in small groups of 2-4 children with similar skills who complement one another.  Play and social interaction with their peers is encouraged in a nurturing environment.

SUCCEED ​is an individualized therapeutic program designed to provide children with a solid foundation for learning. As an 8-week sequential program, children attend small group instruction 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
 
Research shows children benefit from early preschool placement.  However each child is different and may not have the skills necessary to participate in a classroom environment. SUCCEED is specifically designed with these children in mind.  Each child’s skill level is assessed prior to beginning SUCCEED from which an individualized therapy program is designed. 
 
At SUCCEED we look at the whole child, enhancing their strengths to encourage their overall development. SUCCEED targets sensory integration, attending skills, communication skills, fine motor skills and social skills.
 
The small group instruction is provided by licensed speech and occupational therapists. ​

COME PLAY WITH ME
Come Play with Me is a 6-week sequential program. During weekly, one-hour, sessions therapist will help children learn through play-based activities in a small group therapeutic environment. Play is the natural language of children. Young children use play to interact with others, develop language and cognitive skills as well as understand and relate feelings. The focus of Come Play with Me is to help children have positive play experiences by working on: social skills, regulating emotions, language skills, problem solving skills, shyness, separation anxiety. Come Play with Me runs at various times throughout the year. ​While children participate in COME PLAY WITH ME, parents or care takers can enroll and meet simultaneously as a group to review skills being introduced and how to reinforce theses skills outside of the therapeutic environment. In addition, parents may determine which particular skills may be most critical for their child's social success. ​
ARTIC WITH FRIENDS
Artic with Friends is a 6-week sequential program. The one-hour weekly sessions will focus on carry-over of newly acquired articulation skills in their individual treatment sessions. These group treatment sessions will allow the child to practice their acquired speech sounds in a natural setting with peers who have similar articulation goals. Artic with Friends facilitates spontaneous production of target phonemes in a fun therapeutic environment with peers.
LET'S BE FRIENDS: SOCIAL/LANGUAGE GROUPS ​
Let's Be Friends is a 6-week sequential program. The weekly, one-hour sessions will provide support and guidance for children who struggle to understand the non-verbal aspects of language. This pragmatic language group facilitates: appropriate conversation skills, awareness of others' cues and perspectives, body language and facial expressions, emotions, problem-solving, social greetings/telephone skills, organized play. Let's Be Friends will also address topics related to school, home-life and friendships. ​

write right!
Write Right is a therapeutic handwriting group designed to improve writing legibility, formation and spatial awareness. Write Right is led by an Occupational Therapist who specializes in identifying the skills needed to promote legible and efficient handwriting. Write Right is an 8-week sequential program, for 1-hour sessions per week that will provide:
  • Individual handwriting assessments to determine each child’s needs
  • Promote improved postural stability and distal fine motor coordination
  • Increase handwriting performance in the areas of formation, sizing, spacing and legibility
  • Improve handwriting speed and efficiency, to promote confidence in academics 
JUSt take a bite ​
Just Take A Bite is a specialized therapeutic program that incorporates oral-motor and sensory integrative practices to promote feeding skills in children. Just Take A Bite is an 8-week sequential program meeting for a 1-hour session per week, in a small group setting.
Many children are described as “picky eaters”. However, when mealtime becomes a struggle and a child’s limitations in food choices affect the family, feeding therapy can help. Just Take A Bite will assist in the development of age-appropriate feeding skills in a fun, interactive environment to:
  • Improve tolerance of various food textures
  • Reduce behavioral responses to food introduction
  • Increase  variety of foods accepted
  • Promote socialization and enjoyment of mealtime in a small group setting
